Applebee's

On Sunday, Linda and I took Vivi and Gavin to Applebee's. They loved eating ice, playing with sugar packets, and coloring while waiting for their food.

Then, their chicken quesadillas arrived. While they weren't in love with the chicken, they both were mildly obsessed about the sour cream that accompanied the chicken and cheese.

To compensate, they ate most of

my penne pasta. Oh well.

Gavin and Vivian had an awesome weekend with their Grandma and Uncle Flip and can't wait to see them again!

A Saturday with Grandma & Uncle Flip

Grandma and Uncle Flip were in town this weekend. On Saturday, we took the kiddos out to eat, went to Walmart, and played outside for a while. It was a fun day.

At lunch, Gavin and Vivian ate more food than they had all month. And, they each ate 3 or 4 cookies. It was hilarious at the time, but the sugar crash later wasn't as funny. When we got home from Walmart, we played in the backyard for a while (it was 65 degrees outside!). 

The rest of the afternoon was spent playing with Grandma.

At Thanksgiving, I made napkin rings. Since then, two things have happened: (1) a lot of people have asked me how I made them and/or if I could make a set for them and (2) I've become mildly obsessed with Etsy.com. Bananas

We already know that Vivian is in love with bananas, but FYI- Gavin is too. They LOOOVE them. Here are a few dozen photos of them loving their bananas from this morning. And yes, they are sitting on the kitchen table.
