A Boy and His Car
Just like his brother and sister, Paxton loves his car walker. He LOVES it. And on October 11th, Paxton moved forward in his car for the first time (see videos below). Like his siblings, he only moved backwards at first. Interestingly, Gavin didn't move forwards until he was 6 months old (November 8, 2009) and Vivian didn't move forward for a couple more weeks (November 18, 2009). Paxton moved forward for the first time when he was 4 months and 2 weeks old. What the hell are we going to do with this kid?
These videos are from October 11th:
And because he's so dang cute, here are a few more pics from yesterday:
Such a happy baby.

A Milligan Visit
A couple of weekends ago, we were visited by a few of the Milligan clan (Rachel, Renee, & David). Rachel had a rugby game about half way between us and them so they decided to drive the remaining distance and come down to see us. It was awesome. They brought dinner, a few little toys for the kiddos, and some adorable hand-me-down clothes for Pax. They stayed for a few hours before heading back up to Maryland.
We are so grateful to have family like the Milligans. Love you all!

White Boards
G & V got these white boards a couple of years ago and they still love the heck out of them. We got some new markers last weekend and so we colored the days away.
| Vivi really wants to learn how to write her name. I wrote her name on top and then I made dots for her to trace. She loves doing this. Over and over and over. |
| Gavin still likes to scribble. |

Halloween Decor
We haven't done anything in terms of decorating the house for Halloween in the last several years. So this year, I made a spider web wreath for the front door:
And added some little pumpkins to the mantle:
Baby steps, people.

The Pledge
Last week, Gavin started reciting the pledge of alliengence in the car on the way home from school. I had no idea he was saying it at school and we had never said it to him at home. When we made it inside, I got my camera and asked him to do it again...
