Contraband

Today, I pulled the following items out of or away from one of our kids' mouths.

• a leaf
• a dove dark chocolate wrapper (oops)
• a mountain dew can
• my camera
• my cell phone
• Wes' shoe
• a plug cover (who knows why it wasn't in a socket)
• a tiny black bead from a necklace that we can't seem to find all of the pieces to even though it broke a week ago
• a piece of wood that chipped off the basket we use to put their books in
• a Target receipt
• a baby wipe

I think that's it for today's list. And, it's only noon. Either we need to work on baby-proofing our house a bit more or they're just a couple of damn resourceful kiddos.

So Tired

He's a Clothes-Hater

Gavin is a clothes-hater. He could definitely do without them. If he had it his way, he would probably be naked all of the time. Whenever we change his diaper on the floor (instead of on the changing table), he quickly flips over and crawls away as fast as he can the second he's clothes and diaper free. On a typical day, Wes and I can be found chasing a naked baby around the house at least a couple of times, which is why he's a clothes-hater. And yes, those are bruises on his head. He's also an extremely active little squirt.

She's still an investigator. She must have examined the unplugged monitor cord for 30 minutes.

Maryland: February 2010

Maryland was a lot of fun. We celebrated We's 30th birthday with friends and my mom hosted a party our last day in MD for family and friends. Unfortunately, we didn't take many pics during this recent trip. We got to see a lot of people, but only took photos of a few of them. Here ya go...

Off to Charlotte

Today, I left for a job interview in Charlotte, North Carolina! Fingers crossed!
