Bath Time Fun

Gavin and Vivian LOVE taking a bath. Well, Gavin always loves to take a bath, but Viv has been known to scream uncontrollably when any part of her body touches water at times. It's really a crap shoot with her. 

Over the last week or so, they've started yelling "BAAAAAAAAAAF" when they're done eating dinner. Then, we take them out of their chairs and they run to the bathroom. It's too cute.

Side thought: Gavin and Vivian are going to kill me one day for putting some of these pics online. Oh well.

Breakfast with Grandparents

About a week ago, Wes' mom and dad came down for an overnight visit. The highlight of the day was breakfast. Gavin and Vivian really love going out to eat and the other day was no exception. Vivi loved eating an entire plate of scrambled eggs and Gavin loved drinking out of a straw and periodically pouring water all over himself. It was a good time.

He's a Demolition Man

Gavin is a Demolition Man. He wants to (and often does) destroy everything. Okay, maybe his intention isn't always to ruin, break, or mangle, but somehow that's what usually happens. Case in point: our dishwasher. Gavin has been picking at a strip at the bottom of our dishwasher for a few months now. Everytime we see him touch it (or get near it for that matter), we tell him to leave it alone. But, he just kept going back to it. Eventually, he pulled the entire plastic strip off. Then, he was bored. So he started picking at the plate that actually covers the front of the dishwasher. Again, we would ask him to leave it alone on a daily basis. Well, just take a look at it now...

Yep. That's what our dishwasher looks like. Gavin has subsequently been sequestered to the living and play rooms... for the rest of his life. Okay, at least until we get the dishwasher put back together.

She's a Banana-Digger

We thought it was just a fluke the first 2 times it happened, but recently, Vivi did it again (for the third time). We have since officially dubbed her a Banana-Digger. Miss V is obsessed with bananas. She loves them. And, if you give her one or if she gets ahold of one without you knowing, she wants to open it asap. If you don't (which has only really happened three times), she will poke her finger straight through the banana and dig some out to eat. The first time she did this, we were in the car. We had just left the grocery store and Vivi insisted on holding a banana. I didn't think anything of it and let her. When we arrived home, she had made a hole with her finger and dug out about 1/4 of the banana! It was hilarious. Viv is definitely a Banana-Digger.

Photo Shoot & Playtime

The other day, Gav and Viv were being exceptionally adorable. So, we had to have a photo shoot.

Then, Wes decided to make this crazy contraption for playtime. They had a ball playing on and under this thing for about an hour. It was hilarious.
