Other Stuff From November
We made rice crispie treats for the first time! Clearly, I have made them before, but somehow, I've never made them with our kids.

The Whitehursts came over for some craft time, food, and playtime.
Pax learned to fly a kite with Daddy.
Vivi joined me and Pax at his Monday music class. And, she LOVED it!

Fourth Annual Black Friday Cookie Painting Party
Every year, for four years now, we have painted cookies on Black Friday. This year was no different.
It's definitely one of our favorite things to do each year!

Gavin's First Time Skating
The day before Vivian and I went to the Frozen Painting Party, Wes took Gavin by himself out for his first roller skating experience! Gavin was so excited to do something alone with Wes and roller skating was a perfect choice.

Princess Pottery Painting Party
A few weekends ago, Vivian and I got some special one-on-one time at our local paint-your-own-pottery place for a Frozen Painting Party! It was a blast. Olivia and Diane joined us. There was a woman dressed up as Elsa and she sang "Let it go" and took photos with all of the little girls. Frozen music played in the background the entire time and most of the girls were singing along the whole time. Each girl got to paint a little princess figure, eat chocolates, and everyone got blue juice.

He's Developed a Stutter
Paxton is following in his brother's footsteps in many ways. He is adventurous, wants to climb everything, talks nonstop, is hilarious, is a pickier eater than Vivian, is messier than Vivian, and just like his older brother at 2.5, Pax has developed a stutter.
Just the other day, Vivian said to me, "Why can't I understand Paxton anymore? I could a few weeks ago, but not lately. What is he saying?!"
It's because the poor kid is having an extremely difficult time getting a sentence out. Gavin went through a stuttering phase for about 6 months when he was around Paxton's age. It's adorable to me and Wes, but it can be incredibly frustrating for little Doots. But like many of the crazy childhood phases we've experienced in the Rosier house, this too will pass.
