He's a Cleaner
Gavin is a cleaner. He's obsessed with all things that clean the floors. Brooms, vacuums, mops--he loves 'em all!

52 Card Pick Up
The other day, Vivian found a huge deck of cards in a drawer and Wes thought it would be funny to throw them all over the floor. Well, Vivi was very happy with this and sat for about 30 minutes putting them all back in the box one by one. She was very serious and it took a lot to break her concentration.

Too Tired for Story Time
Since last Friday, Vivi and Gavin were both really sick. We usually head into the nursery for story time around 7:20-7:30, read and sing for 30-40 minutes, and put them to bed between 8 and 8:15. On Saturday, we knew that they weren't going to make it to 8pm, so We decided to take them in for some stories at 7:00. Six or seven minutes after Wes closed the door, I got a text from him saying that both G & V were already asleep. I went in to see for myself and found this:
Poor kiddos.

Trying Out the Green Sand
Gavin was the first to try out the green sand (he woke up from his nap early). Once again, only a small amount of this colorful sand was kept in the sand table and the rest was poured out onto the deck and chucked over the deck railing.

Inside Stroller
Gavin and Vivian love playing with their single-baby strollers inside the house. They like to sit in them, push them around, and put their babies in them.

Gregory James Wilkum, III
On April 14, 2011, my dear friend (Kristi) and her husband (Greg) welcomed their first child into the world.
Gregory James Wilkum, III
was born on Thursday, weighing 6lbs 7oz and was 19 inches in length. Kristi is part of the Peachtree group of ladies in my cohort at Purdue. She has played an integral role in my life over the last five years and I love her more than she knows.
If little Greg is anything like his mama, he'll be really smart, thoughtful, creative, considerate, and loving. I know that I'm speaking for all of the Peachtrees when I say that we are ridiculously happy for you two and know that you both will be amazing parents!
