Dinnertime

Dinnertime at our house has become increasingly messy and hilarious in the last couple of months. Just last night, Gavin and Vivian ate spaghetti with green beans, peas, and carrots for dinner. And then for dessert, they ate some cottage cheese.

Whenever they begin to get sick of eating and sitting in their chairs, they clear their trays by feeding little bits and pieces to Chubbs. They carefully pick out the food that they don't like (usually the green beans) and throw it on the floor. And then they giggle when Chubbs eats it. They also love it when Chubbs takes food from their hands. We try to discourage this, even though Chubbs is surprisingly gentle with them, because we don't want them to put their dog-licked fingers back in their own mouths. But, our pleas ("No Chubbs!" & "Don't give that to the pup Vivian!") don't always work. Oh well.
