Daddy's Day 2013

We (Wes, me, Linda, and the kiddos) started of Daddy's Day last weekend by to a Zoo and Reptile Center in Luray, Virginia.

Wes said that there were more venomous snakes and reptiles there than he had ever seen in a single place (which says a lot since Wes has been to several reptile center-ish places). Surprisingly, the twins were not scared of any of it. In fact, they were rather interested in looking at them and listening to Wes tell them all about the reptiles.

We also had some fun with the photo cut outs.

Once inside the zoo part, we got to see a couple of alligators, lots of monkeys, birds, lemurs, a tiger, peacocks, kookaburras, wallabies, and there was even a petting zoo.

After the zoo, we went to Burger King for lunch and some play place fun.

Linda headed back to MD after lunch and we went back to Harrisonburg. At dinner, we took Wes out to his favorite place: Firehouse Subs!

Then it was time to go on an after-dinner nature walk at the arboretum.

Happy Daddy's Day, Wes! You're my favorite person on the planet. And your theirs, too.
