Deep Creek Lake 2014 ~ Monday & Tuesday

Monday

We started off the day hanging out and playing with the kids. 

The forecast didn't look too promising for Monday, but we weren't going to let that stop us from being outside. The Richelsens, Brandy and Carter, and all five of us decided to venture out to another local state park, Swallow Falls, to go on a waterfall hike. It was awesome. It was muddy, wet, and a little cold, but awesome nonetheless.

 

 

After lunch and naps, we went out for ice cream!

Tuesday

The Bittner-Daileys left on Tuesday morning to head back to the real world. The kids just played in the hot tub and ran around the house like maniacs all morning, except when they were complaining about having to eat chocolate chip pancakes (WTH?). 

After lunch and naps, we went to the county fair that happened to be in town during our vacation. The kids rode their very first roller coaster and went on their first Ferris Wheel. We bought unlimited ride tickets, so everyone got to do whatever they wanted. It was a blast!

 

The rest of the Alhassanis left after the fair and then it was just us and the Richelsens left.
