Deep Creek Lake 2014 ~ Saturday & Sunday

Saturday

We (the Richelsens, Alhassanis, Bittner-Daileys, and us) all arrived at the lake on Saturday afternoon.  One of the first things we did was take our big group photo and individual family photos. They turned out pretty great (see them HERE). After photos and pizza for dinner, it was time for the first (of several dozen) hot tub experience.

Everyone eventually went to bed that night (there was a lot of excitement and several meltdowns). 

Sunday

The next morning, we ate breakfast together (mostly) and played before heading out to the beach.

 

 

That afternoon, after lunch and naps for most, we went to Smiley's Fun Center! It was a blast. We played a couple of arcade games, rode go-carts and bumper boats, and played on an awesome wooden playground ship. Before the trip even began, we got all of the kids coordinating superhero shirts. And we thought that this adventure was a perfect time to get the kids in their shirts.

 

Wes and Paxton wer win one go-cart, Tony and Gavin were in another go-cart, Vivian and I were in another go-cart, Brandy and Carter were in a fourth go-cart, and Mike got to ride by himself.

 

 Nick watched from the sidelines.

Then it was time for bumper boats!

 

 

 

 

 We had tacos for dinner (thanks, Bittner-Daileys!) and got all seven kids to bed by 8 or 9-ish.
