Splatter Paint

This is the new artwork hanging in our hallway near our downstairs restroom. And yes, I made it. I started this project months ago and only finished it last weekend. We had an old painting that we weren't going to use anymore. So instead of sending it to Goodwill or tossing it, I decided to attempt to revamp it.

All I did was spray paint a couple layers of white paint over the previous design (it was dark reds and blues), decoupage some scrapbook paper to the canvas, and flick and splatter white house paint all over it. I like the way it turned out and it gives our little hallway new life (there was nothing there before and thus it was very boring... not anymore!)
