I realize I'm behind, but better late than never!
As is our family tradition, we hosted Thanksgiving at our house. Thanksgiving generally consists of the Rosiers, Gills, and Milligans. This year, we had Wes' parents, my mom and Max, my sister and her boyfriend, Steve, Renee and David, and their daughter Sarah with her boyfriend, Geno. So that's 12 adults and three children.
As usual, the day began with snacks, adult conversation, and playtime with the kids.
Besides eating a ton of food, we also like to play games on Thanksgiving, with sometimes fun, sometimes, useful, and sometimes terrible dollar store prizes. This year was a good mix. We let Gavin and Vivian pick them out. So, sorry to whoever won the lint brush and congrats to whoever won the 1lb bag of gummy bears.
The games, however, were all fun. The first game involved transferring peanut butter M&Ms from one 20oz bottle to another, without losing any. Whoever competed the task first was the winner.
The second game involved grabbing a handful of different color (wrapped) Hershey Kisses out of a shared bag and dividing them by color into containers. Whoever correctly seperated the most in one minute was the winner.
Another fun Thanksgiving on the books! Can't wait til next year!
