She's a Pro

We've been randomly giving G & V little plastic spoons or forks while they eat for months now. But, we only recently have been giving them little metal forks. Well, the first time we gave Viv a little metal fork, she knew exactly what to do. We didn't even have to show her. And she's been using one during meals ever since. Here's a video of the first time we gave her a fork.

Gavin, on the other hand, is not totally ready. He tries really hard though. Watch how he picks up the food with one hand, holds the fork with his other hand, and brings both up to his mouth together to make it look like he's actually doing it. It's precious.
