Paxton is TWO months old!

Pax is two months old! It's been wonderful getting to know him over the last several weeks. And, here's what we know about him so far:

He loves movement. Whether he's in his bouncy chair, swing, or being carried around, he definitely prefers movement over being still. But, he's also relatively okay with being still. Sometimes.

He loves water. On the 4th of July, Pax was so relaxed in the swimming pool at Grandma Nee-Nee's and he also really loves showers and baths. He's usually very calm (he has yet to cry during any water experience) and smiles a lot. It's precious.

He's laid back; especially when compared to his brother and sister (at their current age and at their infant age). Pax is relatively go-with-the-flow. So far (ha!), he really only cries when he's hungry, needs to be changed, or wants attention. And he's easily calmed down or soothed. It's a far departure from what we're used to- G & V would cry incessantly for hours on end.

He likes to just sit back and watch his siblings play and be totally crazy. He's very entertained by them. And who wouldn't be? They're hilarious.

He still burps like a grown man. Many of his burps are very loud and sound like they come from an adult.

He maintains eye contact. Paxton has only recently started really looking at us for extended periods of time when we're talking.

He coos. He's also only just started cooing in the last few days. It's adorable.

He loves smiling at people and funny noises. Pax has just recently begun to smile in reaction to things and not just from something voluntarily.

He throws his arms up a lot. That's it.

He looks like his brother (duh!), but he also looks a lot like his sister when she was his age. Although most people are only able to see little Gavin in Pax's face, little Vivian is clearly present in many of his facial expressions. It's weird that he looks like both of them, yet very true. And, I think you can only truly see it in person.

He's just perfect.

HERE's what the twins were up to on their two month birthday.
