Fun with Hats
This post is for my Aunt Virginia, who wore a different hat everyday and believed that you could never have too many.
There are plenty more hats to come.

Fun with Mirrors
This post is for Ashley, who loves taking reflection photos.
They love looking in this mirror. We can put them in front of it and they can be entertained for 15-25 minutes!
It's like magic.

Good News & Well...
Yesterday, Gavin went to the doctor to get checked on an ear infection he had a couple of weeks ago.
- The good news: the ear infection is gone.
- The crazy news: Gavin weighs 17 and a half pounds!
Ridiculous.
He's an Escape Artist
Gavin is an escape artist. He's always trying to get out of whatever we put him in. Whether its the bouncer, the swing, or his swaddle wrap at night, Gavin tries to break out and he usually succeeds. Especially when it comes to his bedtime wrap. At bedtime, we bundle Gavin up in a velcro swaddler. We do this for two main reasons: (1) he sleeps longer when he's "tied up" and (2) if he wasn't swaddled, he would immediately flip over to his tummy and you know what they're saying about that these days. So, we wrap him up. Unfortunately, he's somehow figured out how to get out of this thing. About 50% of our mornings are spent asking Gavin how he got out the night before. What can I say, he's an escape artist.

They're Little Hams
Gavin and Vivian are both little hams. They definitely recognize the camera and in recent weeks, it seems like they're almost posing for it. Okay, well they're probably not actually posing for the camera, but they're certainly quite interested in it when we snap a few shots. And by "a few shots," I mean "about 100 photos a day" (on average, that is). It's actually quite ridiculous. They're precious little hams, but who can blame 'em. I'd be a ham too if I was that freaking cute (shut up Mom*).
*My whole life, my mom has always said that I was the hammiest of hams growing up. I know, you're shocked.
