A couple of weekends ago, we went to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA with Wes' mom and brother. It took us about 3 hours to get there and the kiddos were super excited when we arrived.
If you haven't been to one of these yet (they are all over the country), you should. They're awesome. There is so much to do and the rooms are really nice. We had a GREAT time.
We started off on Saturday by having a lunch in the room before heading down to the indoor/outdoor water park (which is HUGE and AH-mazing!) for the rest of the afternoon.
Sorry, but we didn't get any pics the first day in the water park, but we did later on that evening at Story Time, which is done in the lobby each night and tons of kids head down in their PJs with their parents to listen.
Then, it was off to sleep in our king sized, log bed. G and V loved it.
Sunday morning, we walked around and explored the resort before grabbing some coffee and muffins and heading back up to the room.
One of cutest activities there was a kid-sized bowling alley. The balls were extra small (smaller than duckpin) and the lanes were shorter with bumpers on the gutters. It was awesome. See videos of them bowling HERE.
We ate lunch upstairs and then got ready for an afternoon of water park fun!
Paxton was out of the water for the most part (he went in a few times for a few minutes).
We ended our Great Wolf Lodge stay by getting balloon animals in the lobby (which both popped by the time we made it to the car).
The twins were terribly worn out and fell asleep about 3.5 minutes after we got in the car. It was an incredibly fun weekend and we will definitely be going again!
