The Start of Our Vacay

We headed out to Smith Mountain Lake this morning for our Second Annual (hopefully) Family Lake Vacation. After we packed and loaded the car (how do people with more kids do it?), we were on our way!

Pax fell asleep first (no big surprise). In fact, he's been such an AMAZING traveler with us this summer.

G & V swore that they were NOT going to take a nap. They both were unable to stay awake for the whole drive (which was only about 2.5 hours, by the way).

We made it to the rental property office in record time, picked up the keys, and drove over to our house.

So excited about this week! Let the vacation begin!
