Daddy's Day 2012

We started off the day with blueberry waffles and fruit. Then, the twins and I decided to take Wes to a car museum about 30 minutes south of us.
The twins really loved looking at all of the cars and wondering around on their own (we were the only people there). Vivian was also very interested in having her photo taken with various things she liked. Gavin was not.

There was even an old general store set up with lots of very cool things inside.
When we made it back home, we did the usual lunch and nap. Then, we made bird feeders out of pine cones, peanut butter, and bird seed! Gavin and Vivian (especially Viv) took this project very seriously and were super pumped to do it.
Wes hung them up in the tree on our front porch and the twins have checked on them through the living room window several times a day. We even had popsicles on the front porch yesterday and G & V spent their time calling birds over to their feeders, "Birdies! Food is over here! It's for you!"
The end of the day was spent cleaning the front porch (in preparation for their birthday party this weekend) with water, soap, and tons of fun. Of course, G & V decided to wear their helmets during the process.

Happy Daddy's Day, Wes! You're my favorite!
