Their Actual 2nd Birthday

Monday, May 9 was Gavin and Vivian's actual 2nd birthday (I say "actual" because they're not having their birthday party until June). We started off the day by opening some presents before breakfast. They each got another pair of sunglasses, a puzzle, a book, a plate, and a chair. They loved it all.

After breakfast, playing with their new toys, and a nap, we took them to a playground that they had never been to before. It's ridiculously colorful and has a ton of stuff to do. They had a GREAT time.

Then, we took the kiddos to McDonald's for some ice cream. They were hilarious at McD's. For instance, when we first walked in, they both ran over to the toy display and tried to open it while yelling "ALL MINE!" Then, they both wanted Wes' fruit smootie more than their ice cream. Go figure. And lastly, they said "Hi" to everyone who walked in and "Bye-bye" to everyone who walked out. It was fun. And messy.

It was an awesome 2nd birthday!
