Meeting the New Baby

For weeks, Gavin and Vivian have been talking about when they were going to get to meet their new baby. And when they found out yesterday morning that the new baby was actually born, it's all they talked about at school with their friends and teachers. Interestingly, V's teacher said that Vivian was telling everyone that her mommy had a baby girl named Taylor. We know why she said it was a girl even though she was clearly told it was a boy, but we have no idea where the name Taylor came from. Crazy kid.

Anyways, Wes picked the twins up from school and brought them up to the hospital with Grandma and Uncle Flip. Here's their first introduction to little Pax:

Then, it was time to hold him!

Gavin and Vivian were totally amazed by Paxton. They wanted to hold, touch, and "pet" him. They called him "Baby" and by his name. They also told us a few things they wanted to do with Paxton like, "wrestle with him" and "change his diaper." Overall, Vivian was gentle and Gavin was, well, not.

We can't wait to bring him home and see how he fits into our family!
