Yesterday, Paxton and I were discharged from the hospital! Here are a few pics we took before we left:
Our stay in the hospital was short and sweet. Paxton is nursing well and I feel pretty good for just having surgery. We came home to a quiet house (because G & V were at school, where they got to wear their Best Big Bro and Best Big Sis shirts) and the adjustment has been relatively smooth so far (we'll have to see about how that changes).
(Watching Dora with their brother after school.)
Gavin and Vivian were both very excited when they came home last night to see their little brother. Miss Vivian wants to hold the "new baby" every second of the day and she's very good at it. She's also very helpful when it comes to changing diapers and getting things for little Pax. Gavin also really loves his little bro, but he isn't as gentle as his sister. He also wants to hold him a lot, but not for very long as his attention span is shorter than Vivian's.
But, he is very attentive during diaper changes and is very concerned when Pax cries during them. He'll encourage Pax by saying, "It's okay, baby. It's almost over. Just a few more minutes." They have yet to act out or be mean to us or Paxton, but we're not counting our blessings just yet. I'm sure some jealousy is going to rear it's ugly head in the coming weeks. Until then, we're just enjoying the time we have.

That is the most precious video I have ever seen! I will be coming to visit very soon. The family looks happy.
We are the Rosiers. Wes and I began dating in 2000, were engaged and married in 2007, had boy/girl twins (Vivian Grace & Gavin Charles) in 2009, had our third child (Paxton Marshall) in 2012, and recently had our fourth child (Rex Wesley) in 2015. We're both from Maryland and have lived together in Alabama, Indiana, and now Virginia. We write this blog for our family and friends (and anyone else who's interested!).
